Oh this topic. It’s a hard one because we all have or do face this regularly. Am I enough? Guess what?! You are!! Think you are a mess?! You are! Wait…so the mess is ok? Absolutely! God meets us the most in the messy because it’s here that we need Him the most. These messes don’t define us either. You are not the mess you are in, you are a daughter or son of the living King.
Like Gideon, God finds us in the pit (the mess) and reminds us that He is with us. The pit (mess) could also be labeled as fear, doubt, lack of confidence… this list could go on and on.
Sometimes God allows us to be in the situation we are for a reason. One good thing to remember is Don’t Wish You Were Some Where Else. No matter what we are up against have the confidence that you are enough with God. He makes up where you can’t. So together you are unstoppable! Even the pain and grief, we can find the joy because we know who wins in the end! O
h the freedom knowing who wins. Now this is easier to say especially when you are smack dab in the middle of it, but try!! Maybe make a scripture book that you can go to in the difficult moment and say them over and over. Write down what’s happening. Make sure to grieve it too, give it to God however you can and ask Him to help you find the joy. Thank you for walking this journey with me.
