“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28) One of my favorite verses! God is good, he can only do good. He has so much love and mercy for us.
During these trials and the waiting as He’s turning it for good we are given some gifts. Love: when you are vulnerable with friends, you find out how much people love you. Yep this was one of my lessons. When you are completely broken it scares some people. They have enough mess they don’t want any of yours. They gossip about you not knowing the whole truth. You can see which friends are real love and which ones are not.
Purpose: find words to share. Stories to tell. Another step in my process was this. The pain and disappointment I could no longer live with. That is why I am here. Sharing my story and what God did and is still doing for me. I need to help at least one person. I needed to find my purpose in the pain.
Growth: partner with God to make life count and to give purpose. I look back at pictures of who I was over 2 years ago and I don’t even recognize her. The growth that took place is only from God, I couldn’t have done it myself that’s for sure. I pray to continue to grow (yep I said it, bring it on) until I am complete in Gods eyes.
I am so thankful for this journey. I know God in a more deeper level. I have true, real, there for you friends. They are ready to help at any time. I have grown closer to God with my friends from church. I understand Him a littler more. Thank you Jesus for this ride!
