Hope you all are having a great week! Today I was struggling in the morning…just really tired. Not a lot of motivation. I have Bible study Tuesday evenings and almost didn’t go. But I knew the devil was attacking me, trying to get me to not go. I pushed back and said no way, I am going! So thankful I did. It ended up being a great time with the ladies. Several opened up and was real about things. This is what my heart needed.
How many times do we fall into that trap!? Just feeling blah. So we don’t follow through with something good. And how many of us regret it every single time?! That is the devil my friends, trying to be all sneaky.
Ephesians 1:18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future He has promised to those He called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance He has given to His people. (NLT)
The light Peter mentions is God’s truth, the Bible. This is how you can understand what God wants for you. What He has promised all of us. Instead of getting depressed and angry, if we are flooded with the light, Gods truth, we will be able to react how God reacts. Everything in joy!
I pray that we are flooded by the light. We know the truth and can face problems a little better. He has promised us the best kind of gift ever. I can’t wait for the day 💜
