God’s Plan

Happy Monday! It’s a new week, full of possibilities. I know Monday’s are dreadful. But if you looked at them in a different perspective, they could be refreshing.

Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty spectacular…my boys were baptized (post for a different day)!!

I’ve had some pain my ankle last couple days. I’m not sure if it was my emotions or what. Little bit of fluid again and prickly feeling. It was hard to stand in church. This is life with a disease. Ups and downs. Never know what you are going to get.

But with God I am always able to push through and come out stronger. I know He is using me to help others and that’s how I am able to handle it. I have always said if I can help one, it would all be worth it.

Which goes with the scripture that I chose for today. We are now in Ephesians 3. The first section is verses 1-13. God’s Secret Plan Revealed.

One thing you will quickly learn about God is He has His own timetable. And it is always at His perfect timing. God didn’t want to hold anything from anyone, but He had the perfect time, after Christ died for our sins, to tell us that Jews and Gentiles would come together to form one body. We were all welcomed.

Ephesians 3:8 Just think! Though I did nothing to deserve it, and though I am the least deserving Christian there is, I was chosen for this special joy of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. (NLT)

We have the same task. To tell others about Christ. I love Paul’s strength and courage. He was the least of the least deserving and yet he didn’t hold anything back. I don’t know about you but this is something I fight with a lot. I am becoming a little more confident…baby steps. I don’t deserve to have this great task. I fail Him daily! But He uses those stories behind the not deserving it to bring others to the light. Nobody’s story is less than the next. He can use them all.

Without God‘s help we wouldn’t be able to do God’s work. Our part may look minor but God’s part could outdo anything. He is able to reach anyone.

I am not a very good speaker. I tend to stumble over words. Or even forget words…more often than I like to admit. I don’t think I am very exciting to listen to. Yet God has been able to take those moments and reach others. Where I thought I failed Him, He actually did the opposite, It becomes easier when you see this happening first hand.

I also liked the other versions of this scripture that I looked up…

Eph. 3:8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ (ESV).

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ (KJV).

This is our job. Minor or major In our eyes, it’s all major in His perfect plan. He uses anyone He can. I pray that you are able to see past your “minor” abilities and see God’s major abilities. He’s waiting on you to take a step out in faith. To trust Him. Let’s be a part of His plan! 💜
